梦,是让人心动和魅惑的世界。从那一天起,市民们乘坐每个人都拥有的梦之珠自由翱翔,在极乐的梦想中流连忘返,夜夜笙歌。没过几天,名叫贯庭玉咲(川田妙子
配音)的女孩随父母(安田显 & 吉濑美智子
配音)搬到了春日部市,并转学来到新之助的班级。不知为什么,就从咲来的那天开始,市民们的美梦渐渐被噩梦所代替。梦境中,他们或者变老、或者爱情遭到背叛、或者受人欺凌。人们一个接一个从梦境中惊醒,而且遭受噩梦侵扰的人越来越多。
各位可怕的是,市民们的现实生活也受到严重影响。可怕的危机袭来,春日部防卫队的各位只有携手击败这一切背后的阴谋者!

关于《蜡笔小新：爆睡！》你应该知道的N件事

1春日部防卫队此番是第四次在剧场版中登场，上一次还是2013年的《超级美味B级美食大逃亡！》，距今已有三个年头。
2值得一提的是，本次剧场版的编剧中，戏剧演员、影视剧演员剧团一人参与剧本编写，他表示“自己之前就对梦很感兴趣，那不可思议的魅力促使他要去描写关于梦的一个故事。”
3联合编剧高桥涉同时兼任导演职务，上一次他担任导演的是2014年的《决一胜负！逆袭的机器人爸爸》，高桥导演与和剧团一人就剧本的探讨就长达七八个月。
4除吉濑美智子、安田显外，另一位客座明星是搞笑艺人“总之就是很开朗的安村”。此番是搞笑艺人连续五年且第13次参与“蜡笔小新系列”的配音工作。他和城咲仁、大和田獏一起都出演“自己”。
5为咲配音的川田妙子上一次参与“蜡笔小新系列”还是第二部剧场版《布里布里王国的秘密宝藏》（1994），距今已有22年了。
6影片主题歌原定由乐团“极度卑劣少女”演唱，但是因主唱川谷绘音不伦之恋而取消该计划。随后提拔四人男性流行组合“决明子”演唱主题歌《友よ ? この先もずっと…》。
7安田显和吉濑美智子虽然在片中饰演夫妻，但是后期两人基本是分别录制的，没有见面的机会。某次采访中，安田显称，“如果我是吉濑小姐的丈夫，我一定对她惟命是从。”
8现实中安田显早已结婚，影片完成见面会上，他透露11岁的女儿得知老爸参与该片配音非常高兴，他觉得这次工作是对老婆、女儿的诚挚回馈。
